I’m Oskar Brandt, a singer and songwriter based in Berlin. I make orchestral pop that feels a bit like stepping into a film, the kind of music you don’t just hear but really feel.
A lot of what I write comes from the messy, honest parts of being human. Love, heartbreak, grief, uncertainty. The moments that don’t always have clear answers. I’m not trying to fix those feelings, I just want to give them space and maybe find a bit of beauty or hope inside them.
I’ve always loved storytelling, especially the kind you find in films and musicals, and that really shapes my sound. Artists like RAYE, Sam Smith, and OneRepublic have inspired me a lot, and I bring that together with piano, strings, and cinematic production. At the same time, I try to keep the lyrics close and personal, like something you could have written in your own notes at 2am.
My debut single, Now or Never, is the first piece of that world. It’s about love going through a difficult moment, when inner struggles get in the way, but there’s still this quiet hope that you might find your way back to each other.
If you’re someone who likes to really sit with music, to come back to songs and let them grow with you, then I think you’ll feel at home here. I just want my music to remind you that whatever you’re feeling, you’re not the only one going through it.
